How to enable Dark Mode for Windows 10 and MS Office

Learn fast and easy how to turn on Dark Mode for all the Microsoft Office apps, and Windows 10. Take advantage of the 1809 update to File Explorer and turn your windows into a more relaxing view.



 

 Dark Mode for MS Office

  1. Open any Office app (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint etc). 
  2. From the left side, on the Office Startup window, click Account. Or if you already have a document open, click on File and then Account.
  3. From the Office theme drop-down menu, select either Dark Gray or Black.

Dark Mode for Windows 10

  1. Open the Start menu and type colors.
  2. Click on the Choose your accent color from the result.
  3. Scroll down until you find the Choose your default app mode options.
  4. Switch it from Light to Dark.
