Note: For this example, we are using a Samsung Galaxy S8 and an IFROGZ Aurora Bluetooth Headset. The procedure might vary by phone and audio device, but the idea is the same: You use the phone's audio as the main source, and only your music app plays through an external audio device.
- Make sure your desired external audio device (wired or Bluetooth headset, or speakers) is connected to your phone.
- Scroll down to view your Notifications.
- Under Samsung Connect, tap on Audio Output.
- Select "My Phone" as the main audio output device.
- Navigate to Settings, and Sounds and Vibration.
- Scroll all the way down and tap on Separate app sound. Set it to On.
- Tap on App to select your desired music app. If it's not on the list, tap on Add application.
- Tap the Back arrow and tap on Audio Device. Select your desired external audio device. In our example, we chose the Bluetooth Device option.
