App or game lowers the Music or Spotify app volume - Workaround

Some apps or games lower the volume of the background music (either from Music app or Spotify) when you open them. That can be quite irritating, as the volume returns to high when you close them. In this tutorial, we show one of the best workarounds. This way you can play a game AND listen to loud music while you are at the gym.

Note: For this example, we are using a Samsung Galaxy S8 and an IFROGZ Aurora Bluetooth Headset. The procedure might vary by phone and audio device, but the idea is the same: You use the phone's audio as the main source, and only your music app plays through an external audio device.

  1. Make sure your desired external audio device (wired or Bluetooth headset, or speakers) is connected to your phone.
  2. Scroll down to view your Notifications.
  3. Under Samsung Connect, tap on Audio Output.
  4. Select "My Phone" as the main audio output device.
  5. Navigate to Settings, and Sounds and Vibration.
  6. Scroll all the way down and tap on Separate app sound. Set it to On.
  7. Tap on App to select your desired music app. If it's not on the list, tap on Add application.
  8. Tap the Back arrow and tap on Audio Device. Select your desired external audio device. In our example, we chose the Bluetooth Device option.
Now every time you connect your desired external device, you will be able to listen to music on your favorite app, at your desired volume, without fluctuating every time you open another app or game.

New Page template button with timestamp in the title - Notion

These days I'm all about discovering ways for people to use Notion  without  the use of databases, as databases slow things down. I'm also an advocate for minimalism while still having an efficient workflow. Today I'm giving a tip with an example of daily journal entries. Usually, a Notion template comes with a database for journal pages, with a "Date created" property which is mighty convenient. But you can also replicate that without a database.  This will make it super fast for you to start journaling on a new page with the current date and time already added to the title. Create a simple text page where all your journal entries will be stored (no databases/tables). Optional: You may create a subpage to serve as an Archive for past entries. Again this should be a simple text page, not a database. You may also have multiple archives, named after the 12 months or years to keep things more organized. Type / , then template , then select the Template button . Give
