How to enable text suggestions while typing in Windows 10

In this tutorial, learn how to enable text and emoji suggestions while you're typing in Windows 10.


  1. On the Windows Search bar, type Settings and press Enter.
  2. Click on Devices.
  3. Click on Typing from the list on the left.
  4. Scroll down to the Hardware Keyboard section.
  5. Enable Show text suggestions as I type.
  6. Scroll down to Multilingual text suggestions and enable the option to show suggestions based on the recognized language you're typing in.
