How to add a shortcut of a Split Screen App Combo in Edge Panel

In Samsung Galaxy devices, along with the Split Screen functionality, where you can have 2 apps visible on your screen simultaneously, you can also have an icon shortcut of that combination of the 2 apps in Edge panel. Therefore, whenever you want to open those 2 apps in Split Screen mode again, all you have to do is slide to open Edge panel, and tap on the corresponding icon.

  1. Open your 2 apps and tap the 3 lines icon of the Navigation bar to open the Recent Apps screen.
  2. On the icon of your desired app, tap and hold to bring up the menu.
  3. Tap on Open in split-screen view.
  4. Select your second app.
  5. On the middle in between those 2 apps, tap on the second icon with the + sign, to add the shortcut to the Edge panel.
